Herbox and CIFF challenge the status quo of the fashion industry
By breaking taboos around menstruation and making fashion events more inclusive and sustainable.
Between January 28th and 30th, Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) will host its first-ever menstruation-friendly fashion fair, and we at Herbox are thrilled to be part of this initiative!
We have joined forces to challenge outdated norms and create a more inclusive and sustainable future, which is more important than ever. Together, we aim to pave the way for other players in the fashion industry and, in the long term, ensure that dispensers with free menstrual products are always available when needed.
CIFF sets a new standard for the fashion industry
CIFF has long been a leading player in the fashion industry in Northern Europe, but it has also become a hub for sustainability and social responsibility. With a focus on promoting innovation, equality, and diversity in the fashion world, CIFF has made sustainability an integral part of its operations. It’s not just about showcasing new clothes and trends – it’s also about creating an environment where everyone, regardless of gender or background, feels welcome and included.
This year’s theme, centered around hyper-urbanization, reflects a fusion of modernity and forward-thinking. CIFF 2025 will offer a wide range of exhibitors, workshops, and events designed to inspire and connect both established and emerging players in the fashion industry.
It’s the perfect setting for all of us to build new connections and strengthen the dialogue around innovation and sustainability – two central areas that we at Herbox are passionate about.

What Herbox brings to the table
Since 2021, Herbox has been working to change and improve access to menstrual products in all spaces. In collaboration with CIFF, we aim to make more fashion events accessible and equitable for everyone.
By providing free menstrual products at CIFF’s January 2025 fair, and being present on-site, we aim to create a more inclusive experience. Making menstrual products a natural part of events where people gather is one of many steps toward breaking taboos and normalizing menstruation as a natural part of everyday life.

All Herbox dispensers are designed to be both functional and sustainable, and our production takes place in Sweden. This reduces transportation emissions and gives us full control over quality. For us, it’s not just important to deliver products of the highest quality but also to ensure that the entire value chain is rooted in sustainability and circular principles. All dispensers are recyclable, and since 2024, we now offer machines made from recycled plastic. Since our start in 2021, we have also donated 1% of our annual profit to the Swedish charity “Kvinna till Kvinna”, and we are proud to say that, together with our customers and partners, we help women worldwide.
